History

1995

We started our investment studies.

1998

We switched to electricity generation and established our first facility with a power of 104 MW in Bursa Demirtaş Organized Industrial Zone.

2003

We participated in Eltek Elektrik by 46% as founding partners and increased the share rate to 100% in 2013.
We first purchased the shares of the 64 MW Turkish Edison Energy company established in Kocaeli, and later it was merged with our company. .

2004

We commissioned an Electricity Generation Facility with a power of 2.6 MW within Koç University.

2009

By making an additional investment in Kocaeli Power Plant, we increased the total installed power of the company to 219 MW.

2011

Having acquired 49.62% of the company, the AES group left the partnership at the end of 2014.

2014

Selen and Cenay, which operate the Damlapınar and Kepezkaya hydroelectric power plants in Karaman, and Kumköy, which operates the Kumköy hydroelectric power plants in Samsun Çarşamba, joined Entek in June 2014 after the end of the AES partnership.

2015

The activities of Bursa and Koç University were terminated.

2017

Azmak 1, Azmak 2 and Kirpilik HEPPs located on Ermenek Stream in Mersin province Mut district were purchased and joined Entek.

2018

Menzelet and Kilavuzlu Power Plants in Kahmaranmaraş joined Entek.

2020

The “Enspire Creative Energy Solutions” brand was established to implement energy efficiency and on-site energy generation projects that will transform energy consumption.

2021

With the purchase of the Süloğlu Wind Power Plant with an installed capacity of 66 MW in Edirne, the total installed power has been increased to 442 MW.

2022

The shares of our company, which is a subsidiary of Koç Holding and Aygaz, were transferred to Tüpraş.
